The Story of Faith
A Boy's Love
Becomes Eternal
Legend tells of a young boy named Ballal who was beaten by his father for his obsession with worshipping stones as Ganesha in the forest. Despite being tied to a tree and bleeding, he refused to stop chanting. Moved by his unwavering devotion, Lord Ganesha appeared, healed him, and granted him a boon. Ballal asked for only one thing: "May you stay here forever and be known by my name."
